Tom Crowley is an Associate at Grattan Institute. In the Transport and Cities Program, he co-authored the report Fast Train Fever. In the Budgets and Government Program, he contributed to Grattan’s analysis on two rounds of federal and state budgets, and co-authored the report Women’s Work on economic outcomes for women during the COVID recession.
Tom previously worked at the Australian Treasury on a range of policy areas, including income tax, negative gearing and capital gains tax, not-for-profits regulation, and health policy.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics at the University of Melbourne, and was chief editor at the Economics Students Society of Australia.
