Lucy Percival joined the Grattan Institute from Queensland, following a 7 year state and federal public sector career. She has also spent time as an independent consultant.
During her time in the Queensland Government she has led complex policy reform programs and organisational strategy projects, targeting more efficient outcomes for the state. She is an accomplished leader of people and projects with a keen interest in behavioural economics, and economic development both past and present.
She has a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Arts (in public policy and international relations), and a Masters of Development Economics. During her Masters, she studied abroad in Portugal.
