It will be an extraordinary Budget for extraordinary times. The 2020 Federal Budget, delayed for months because of a global pandemic, will be delivered in the midst of a global recession.

The deficit will be ‘eye-watering’, with income tax cuts likely to be brought forward, and infrastructure spending on an unprecedented scale. But will it be enough to get the economy firing and Australians back to work? Will the Government inject sufficient stimulus in the right places at the right time?

In this special post-Budget Grattan Webinar, our panel of experts will assess the 2020 Budget, and identify better ways to hasten the recovery. And we want to hear from you – please join in by submitting your questions.
