The proposed Core Skills Occupations List unnecessarily restricts temporary skilled visas to a subset of all highly-skilled, high-wage occupations.
The list should instead include all skill level 1, 2, and 3 occupations, expanding the range of jobs eligible for employer sponsorship and boosting the pool of highly-skilled applicants for permanent skilled visas.
