Making a major gift

Grattan relies on philanthropic donations from people like you, to continue our nation-changing research.

Independent. Rigorous. Practical.

That’s the approach Grattan Institute takes to tackling the biggest issues facing Australians.

Recent evidence of the significant impact made possible by philanthropic giving to Grattan includes:

  • paid parental leave made more gender-equal and expanded to 26 weeks;
  • the Safeguard Mechanism strengthened to reduce industrial carbon emissions;
  • female workforce participation boosted through a $5.4 billion cheaper childcare package.

Grattan doesn’t take money from political parties or vested interests. We rely on donations from people like you, to continue our nation-changing research, without fear or favour.

Your planned giving is more critical than ever.

You may be thinking of partnering with Grattan by giving a gift of $10,000 or more. Perhaps you give philanthropically through a trust, a Private Ancillary Fund, or your business. Or you may simply be looking to give a tax-deductible donation. However you give, we understand that you may like to discuss how a large gift can make a meaningful impact at Grattan.

For a confidential, no-obligation conversation with us, please call Grattan’s Head of Philanthropy, Ant Clark, on 0422 939 200, or email ant.clark@grattan.edu.au.
