An important message from John Daley - 2020 Fundraising Appeal

Grattan Institute relies on donations to keep going. If you can, please donate before 30 June to support Grattan’s work, and help us help Australia.

This year, please donate to help keep Grattan going.

We all know, it’s been a tough year for many in our community, and across the world. If the money in your household won’t stretch to support Grattan this year we understand – we’ve done plenty of research showing how many households are under pressure as a result of COVID-19.

But if you can support Grattan’s work, it would help us to help Australia. COVID-19 is the biggest shock to Australia since World War II, and we’ve responded. Since 10 March we’ve published 40 opinion pieces and 22 blogposts about the health, economic, household finance, budget, and infrastructure issues that COVID-19 raises. These have made a substantial contribution.

Grattan has also continued to work on Australia’s big long-term policy issues on everything from superannuation to climate change, as we summarise in our annual Impact Report.

Grattan is fiercely independent. That independence means that our work is higher quality, and it is more trusted by policy makers, the media, and the public. To maintain that independence, we don’t accept commissioned work from governments, corporates, or interest groups.

So Grattan depends on donations in the long run. Your donation, no matter how big or small, helps Grattan to become a permanent force for good in Australian life.

If you would like to support Grattan Institute, please donate online, or contact our Head of Corporate Services, Andrew Long (andrew.long@grattan.edu.au), to discuss how you or your organisation can be part of Grattan’s future.
