Too many patients in Australian hospitals are getting treatments they should not receive and which could cause them harm. In this presentation, Health Program Director Stephen Duckett shows that not enough has been done since Grattan shone a light on the problem in its 2015 report, Questionable care. He says hospitals that continue to perform too many do-not-do treatments should face funding cuts or other sanctions.
