What we are looking for
You must have a deep understanding of the energy sector and related climate change issues and experience in contributing to policy debates. Beyond this, we are looking for:
- a minimum of four years of work experience in industry, consulting, academia, and/or the public sector, ideally with a focus on the energy sector or heavy industry.
- experience working on policy and with policy makers
- a good grasp of one or more of the following: economics, finance, investment, resources, infrastructure, or tax
- excellent communication, analytical and research capabilities, and someone who thrives on complexity
- strong people and project management skills
- the ability to write and present information well for a broad audience, and
- ability to speak confidently and reliably with stakeholders and the media and quickly develop a public profile.
- Candidates will be considered for the role of either Senior Associate or Deputy Program Director, depending on their background and experience, and salary will be commensurate with the appointed position.
